About me

I am a motivated student pursuing a B.Sc. in Applied Physics, with a previous B.Sc. in Computer Science (Summa Cum Laude). I combine a solid background in programming with growing experience in scientific research. I enjoy tackling complex problems through computational methods, and I work effectively in collaborative environments.

I am actively working in the field of Artificial Intelligence, co-authoring a research paper currently under editorial assignment at Frontiers.
I am fluent in Italian and English, with basic knowledge of Japanese.

Education

University of Eastern Piedmont
B.Sc. in Applied Physics - ongoing
Relevant coursework: Calculus, Fundamental Physics, Basics of digital and analog electronics.

University of Eastern Piedmont
B.Sc. in Computer science - Summa Cum Laude
Relevant coursework: Algorithms, Computer Algebra, Computers Architecture, Digital Electronics, Operating Systems, Compilers Architecture.

Experience

I have extensive programming experience in C, Java, JavaScript, and Python, combined with a strong mathematical foundation. I am skilled in algorithm design and in developing 2D graphical applications using libraries such as SDL and OpenGL.

I am actively involved in research on Large Language Models (LLMs), focusing on their application to text classification tasks. I design and evaluate classification pipelines based on state-of-the-art transformer architectures, analyze model behavior, perform prompt engineering, and compare LLM-driven approaches with traditional machine-learning baselines. This work has strengthened my skills in natural language processing, experimental design, and scientific validation of AI models.

Thanks to my interdisciplinary academic path, I have experience modeling and studying physical systems programmatically in C and Python. I am also familiar with basic electronic design and simulation tools such as Eagle and LTspice.
